BIOGRAPHY
Monde Mkhizwana is a young South African musician. He is the drummer for the internationally touring band known as Kwani Experience and is a music composer, arranger and producer for a company called WONGA MUSIC, of which he is the founder. Monde has been involved in music since the tender age of six and has studied and worked extensively ever since.
He began his studies at The National School Of The Arts in South Africa where he majored in Vocals and electronic music, obtaining his National Senior Certificate in popular music. He continued at The University Of Kwa-Zulu Natal where he obtained his National Diploma in Jazz and Popular music.
He has worked with production companies such as Masters & Savant, M.E.L.T 2000, Metropolitan Republic, The Jupiter Drawing Room and Sweet Spot Content by supplying music for television commercials and album releases.
Music With No Name which was released internationally in 2008 by M.E.L.T 2000 (produced by Monde), was Monde's debut into the music recording and production industry.
He has worked with a number of artists such Busi Mhlongo, Sipho 'hotstix' Mabuse, Pops Mohammed, Zuluboy, Madala Kunene, Genesis and Jamela Vuma to name a few. He has earned respect, both as drummer for the well known, internationally touring band known as Kwani Experience, and as a music producer, composer and arranger.
